Herdis Ray Jr., age 85 of Paducah, passed away on Sunday, June 27, 2021, 3:12 p.m. at Mercy Health Lourdes.
He was of the Baptist Faith. He was formerly employed by Calvert City Chemical Plant and Guy Gray Plumbing.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ola Mae Love Ray, parents Herdis Ray Sr., Bertha Lee Clark Ray and one sister.
He is survived by two daughters, Gwenella D. Ray and Regina D. Moore both of South Bend, IN; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson; one sister, Doris Ray of Paducah and several cousins.
Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, July 10, 2021, 11:30 a.m. at Pettus Rowland Funeral Home with Rev. Alfred Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
Friends may call on Saturday at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
Masks are required for all in attendance.
