Wendell Alexander

Wendell K. Alexander, age 61, of Paducah went home to be with his Lord on October 7, 2013, at 3:03 A.M. from the Baptist Health Care of Paducah. Wendell passed away from injuries he received, on October 1, 2013, after being struck by a vehicle while riding his bike.

Wendell was a native of Paducah and worked as a courier for Baptist Health Care of Paducah. He was a former member of the Full Gospel Tabernacle. He also enjoyed singing in the Christmas shows put on by his co-workers at the hospital.

Wendell leaves behind his sister, Lois McGregor of Paducah. One aunt, Mary Griffin of Paducah and an uncle Sam Blair of West Paducah. Several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. His beloved dog Sassy and his extended family at the Baptist Health Care of Paducah.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Brice Alexander and Lillian Blair Alexander; and one brother, Dennis Alexander.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, October 9, 2013, at the Keeling Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Roger Whetstone officiating. Burial will follow in the Maplelawn Park Cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family today from 5:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M. and from 9:00 A.M. till funeral hour on Wednesday.
