Walter "Bud" Attebury, age 90, of Marion, IL, formely of Paducah, KY, passed away at 8:47 am on
December 1, 2015 at Heartland Medical Center in Marion, IL.
Mr. Attebury was a Veteran of the United States Air Force and a member of the American Legion
and VFW. He was a maintenance foreman for Olin.
Mr. Attebury is survived by his wife, Peggy Ford Attebury of Marion, IL; two daughters, Judy Attebury of Marion, IL, Kathy Kobler and husband Gary of Marion, IL; two sisters, Evelyn Reidolph of Murray, KY, Lucille Blakenship of Reidland, KY; two grandchildren, Larry Shelton and wife Lindsay of Springfield, IL, Kara Kobler of Marion, IL; four great-grandchildren, Beckett and Reese Shelton of Springfield, IL, Kiersten Kerley of Marion, IL, Kolby Keyser of Marion, IL; one great-great grandchild, Kensleigh Kerley.
Mr. Attebury was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Jessie Drake Attebury; three
brothers, Paul, Donald and Charles Attebury.
Funeral services for Mr. Attebury will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Bro. Steve Ray officiating. Burial will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
Visitation for Mr. Attebury will be held from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
