Services for Virginia Ruth Mason Green, 73, of Paducah will be at noon Friday at St. James CME Church, 806 Tennessee St., with the Rev. Martha E. Granger officiating. Burial will be in Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
Ms. Green died at 8:56 p.m. Saturday at Western Baptist Hospital.
Ms. Green was a member of St. James C.M.E. Church where she served on the Missionary Society and was a member of the choir. She was a graduate of West Kentucky Vocational School.
Ms. Green was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew J. Mason Sr. and Bessie Morrison.
Ms. Green is survived by one brother, Andrew Mason Jr. of Paducah, KY; one niece, Lizzie Cole of Paducah; one nephew, Russell Cole of Paducah; one aunt, Samella Sharp of Detroit; and several cousins.
Friends may call after 10 a.m. Friday at the church.
Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
