Rev. Sarah Stratton, 85, of Paducah died at 5:45 p.m. Sunday, March 9, 2114, at Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was the former pastor and a member of the Church of the Living GOD. She earned her Associates Degree from Murray State
University. She was a member of the Community Clergy Fellowship and a Paducah Ambassador.
She is survived by three daughters, Carolyn Stratton of Paducah, Barbara Stratton-Gore of Upper Marlboro, Md., and Nwayni
Stratton of Glenarden, Md.; one stepdaughter, Katherine Donaldson of Gary, Ind.; one sister, Mary Algee of Paducah; two grandchildren;
six stepgrandchildren; and four stepgreat-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 15, 2014, at Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church in Paducah with W. Charles Townsend
officiating. Burial will be at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Friday, March 14, 2014, at Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home, and from 9 a.m. until 10
a.m. Saturday at the church.
