Roberta Hancock, 88, of Paducah died at 5 a.m. Monday at her residence.
A native of Carlisle County, she was a retired nurse, working for Lourdes hospital, Western Baptist Hospital and the Illinois Central Gulf Railroad Hospital. She was a graduate of the Louisville General Hospital School of Nursing and a member of Heartland Worship Center.
She is survived by one daughter, Eugenia F. Hancock of Paducah; a son, Robert L. Hancock of Paducah; two brothers, Calvin Williams and Norman Williams, both of Louisville; four nieces; four great-nieces; and one great-nephew.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene "Gene" Hancock; a daughter, Gwendolyn Hancock; and two brothers.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Keeling Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Hoover officiating. Burial will follow in the Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
Friends may visit with the family from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
