Robert Platt

March 16, 1937 — July 1, 2019

Paducah, Ky

Robert O. Platt, 82, of Paducah, received his heavenly reward on
Monday morning, July 1st, 2019 at his home with his family faithfully
by his side.

Robert was a retired Mechanical Designer who worked for
Monsanto for many years, as well as being a former owner with his wife
Nancy of Rosewood Inn Bed and Breakfast in Lone Oak. Robert was a
member of Equip Church and formerly attended Heartland Church.

Robert is survived by his wife of 59 years, Nancy; one daughter,
Marjorie A. Platt Conkwright and husband Charles of Paducah; two sons,
Michael Platt of Florida, and Mark Platt of Michigan; two sisters,
Mary (Larry) Leaheart of Mo., and Claudine Madl of Mo.; many
grandchildren, great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.


Friends may visit the family on Friday morning, July 5th, 2019 at
Equip Church at 3661 James Sanders Blvd. in Paducah from 10am until 12
noon.

Funeral services will start at 12 noon with Pastor Bobby Strong
and Gary Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Maplelawn Park
Cemetery in Paducah with military honors.

The family would like to thank Mercy Health Hospice Program for

all the care and kindness they showed all their family during this time.
