Robert Garland

Robert E. Garland, 88, of Paducah passed away at 10:27 am on Tuesday, January, 5, 2016 at Baptist
Health of Paducah.

Robert worked for a number of local auto dealerships and retired after a long career at Paducah
Ford as a salesman. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Paducah where he served a
greeter and usher. He was a life member of Grahamville Masonic Lodge 707 where he was a 32
dergee Scotish Rite Mason.

He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Melvia Jean Simmons Garland; his daughter, Pam
Gipson and husband Mike of Paducah; son Max Garland of Eau Claire WI, one granddaughter,
Megan Elizabeth Gipson; one neice Marta Nall, and two nephews, Ronnie Poyner,and Budde Ray
Garland.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Aline Hardin and Lois Poyner; two brothers, K. M. Garlad
Jr., and Horace Ray Garland. His parents were K. M. Garland, and Martha Elizabeth Bradford
Garland.

Funeral services for Robert will be at 1:00 pm on Friday, January, 8, 2016 at Milner & Orr Funeral
Home of Paducah with Rev. Tommy Tucker officiating. Burial will follow at Maplelawn Park
Cemetery. Visitation for Robert will be from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm on Friday, January, 8, 2015 at
Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paduah.
