Rex Stapleton

Rex Allen Stapleton, 55, joined his parents, brothers and other loved ones June 6, 2012, after a short struggle with cancer. He was born and raised in McCracken County and graduated from Lone Oak High School. He was a member of Bellview Baptist Church. He served his country in the U.S. Army.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Ike Andrew Stapleton and Randall Eugene Stapleton; and his parents, J.W. Stapleton and Mary M. Stapleton.

He is survived by his brothers, Jesse Wayne Stapleton and Carl Page Jr., and his sister, Shirley A. Stewart, all of Paducah. He is also survived by his daughter, Tina Stapleton-Munsell, and his grandsons, Anthony Jesse and Isaac Christopher Waid. Also dear to his heart were Chris Droge and Jennifer Lynn Misiewicz; Jennifer's daughter, Sophie Lee, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 12 p.m. Saturday, June 9, 2012, at Milner and Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with the Rev. Mike Nolan officiating. Burial will be at a later date at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.

Friends may call after 10 a.m. Saturday at Milner and Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
