Norma Taylor

Norma Louise Boaz Taylor, 96 years old, was born in Paducah, KY on November 4, 1922 to Goebel and Hazel Holly Boaz. A beloved mother and grandmother, Norma passed away peacefully surrounded by her children and grandchildren on July 29, 2019 at Atria Stoney Brook, Jeffersontown, KY.
Norma is survived by four sons and one daughter: James (Sue), Robert (Kathy), Michael (Jodi), Paul (Nancy), and Kathy Grizzle (Dennis). She has 10 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Her main life’s vocation was being an awesome Mother. She aspired to go into nursing, however ended up doing dental assisting. She was a true “Trekker”, loving anything related to NASA or Star Trek.
Visitation will be at Ratterman and Sons Funeral Home Jeffersontown 10600 Taylorsville Rd from 3-6 pm Thursday, August 1 with her Funeral Service starting at 6pm. Norma will be laid to rest along side her mother in Paducah, KY at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
