Michael Jesse Stapleton

Mr. Michael Jesse Stapleton, age 44, of Mayfield, Kentucky passed away at 12:00 AM Sunday, January 22, 2023 at the Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield, KY. He attended New Hope Baptist Church.

He is survived by his mother- Dena Sue Hobbs of Mayfield, KY; his brother- Randall Stapleton of Mayfield, KY; sister- LouEva Moore of Mayfield, KY; son- Blake Wilmoth of Sedalia, KY; friend- Martha; nephew Kory Moore; nieces- Olivia Moore and Isabella Moore; great-niece- PaisleyMae "Turkey Leg" Moore; his aunts- Patty (Hollie) Copeland of Paducah, KY, Debbie Tatro of Metropolis, IL, and Shirley Stewart of Paducah, KY; his uncles- Michael (Helen) Bell of Vermont, and Wayne (Judith) Stapleton, and Carl Page of Paducah, KY; several cousins also survive. He was preceded in death by his father- Randy Eugene Stapleton; his paternal grandparents- Jess and Mary Stapleton; and maternal grandparents- Raymond and Nora Tatro.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, January 26, 2023 at the Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY with Rev. Allen Morris officiating. Burial will follow in the Maplelawn Park Cemetery in Paducah, KY, Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM on Thursday, January 26, 2023 at the Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY.
