Mary Ruth Whitley, 85, of Paducah died Sunday at Lourdes hospital.
Ms. Whitley, a graduate of the University of Kentucky, was a retired medical technologist at Lourdes hospital. She was a member of First Christian Church of Paducah.
Surviving are two cousins, Bill Durham of Bowling Green and Joseph Cates of West Paducah.
Her parents were Silas Pearce Whitley and Delia Cates Whitley.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Roth Funeral Chapel with Jay Gottman officiating. Burial will be at Maplelawn Cemetery.
Friends may call after 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Martha's Vineyard.
