Mary Louise Fike, 95, of West Paducah, Kentucky passed away at 10:42 a.m. Thursday, February 4, 2021 at Providence Point. She was born on April 15, 1925 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the Late John and Louise Schwieter. Mary worked for Cambridge Tile Mfg. in Cincinnati, Macgregor Sporting Goods in Cincinnati, Drackett Chemical in Cincinnati and Blackhawk Bakery in Paducah. She was a member of St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church where she was active in the social activities of the church and the Forrestdale Homemaker Club.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Dianne Boland and husband, John of Williamsburg, Ohio; son, Jeff Fike of West Paducah, Kentucky: six grandchildren, John (Joy) Boland of Williamsburg, Ohio, Daniel Boland of Williamsburg, Ohio, Susan Boland of Lebanon, Ohio, Tim (Amanda) Boland of Williamsburg, Ohio, Hailey (Matt) Jacobs of Amite, Louisiana and Taylor (Jessica) Fike; twelve great grandchildren, thirteen nieces and nephews and two special lifelong friends, Susan Tyle of Fowlerville, MI and Mary Guigar of North Branch, MI.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Fike in 2002; four brothers, Norb Schwieter, Ed Schwieter, John Schwieter and Bob Schwieter. Her parents were John Schwieter and Louise Fries Schwieter.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church with Rev. Bruce McCarty officiating. Burial will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Wednesday. February 10, 2021 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
