Marquez Lamar Walker was, born June 3, 2020 in Atlanta, Ga to his loving mother Nheema Walker. After
struggling with Zellweger Syndrome for 7 months, 24 days, 11 hours and 15 minutes, he passed gently
into the arms of Jesus.
Marquez was dedicated to the LORD on September 12, 2020 under the leadership of Dr. E. Dewey Smith
Jr. of House of Hope of Atlanta.
Marquez touched many hearts and lives in his brief stay here on earth. Gaining many names such as Q
Baby, Lil Man, Lil Champ, Q, and Prince. He was truly loved by many.
Marquez went to join those who had transitioned before him, his sibling Baby T. Lee and , grandfather
Allen Webb Jr.
He is survived by his mother, and sister Derricka Walker of the home. His loving grandmother Minister
Connie Webb and grandfather Napoleon Cornelius Sr. Three uncles, Larry Webb of Brookport, Illinois,
Dyron Webb of Burnsville, Minnesota and Napoleon “Anthony” Cornelius Jr. of Cape Girardeau, Mo. Two
aunts Danielle (Kenneth) Shannon of Chicago, Illinois and Cree Smith of Atlanta, Ga. A very special
cousin Ebony Martin of the home. Host of many other uncles, aunts and cousins.
Services for Marquez will take place on Saturday February 6, 2021 at Massie Funeral Home in Mounds, Illinois. Visitation will take place from 10:00 A.M. until the funeral hour of 11:00 A.M. With the funeral following at 11:00 A.M. With Minister Carolyn Webb officiating. Entombment will be in the Maple lawn Park Mausoleum in Paducah, Kentucky.
