Mamie McCambry Agnew, 89, of Paducah died at 10:27 a.m. Monday, November 4, 2013, at Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was a member of Burks Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church, where she served as an usher. She retired from Western Baptist Hospital and was a homemaker.
She is survived by two daughters, Anita Edmondson of Paducah and Ruby Ann Townsley of Louisville; one son, Larry Darnell Agnew of Paducah; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Agnew; one son, Cecil Earl Agnew; seven sisters; and two brothers. Her parents were Will McCambry and Essie Reed McCambry.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 9, 2013, at Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home in Paducah. Rev. Rita Story will officiate, with burial in Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
