Laura Ruth Marshall, age 92 of Paducah, passed away at 5:00 pm on Thursday, April 16, 2015 at Metropolis Nursing & Rehab in Metropolis, IL. Ms. Marshall was a member of Broadway United Methodist Church. She retired from Peoples Bank in Paducah.
She is survived by one sister; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Marshall; her parents, Elvis Oran and Rubel
Menser Shepherd; one sister; three brothers.
A funeral service will be held at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah, Monday, April 20,
2015 at 1:00 pm with Bro. Mickey Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 19, 2015 at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm and on Monday, April 20, 2015 at 12:00 pm until time of service.
Expressions of sympathy may be made: to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place,
Memphis, TN 38105 or Lourdes Hospice, PO Box 7100, Paducah, KY 42002.
