Johnny Elder

Michael Elder, 62, of Paducah died at 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 18, 2014, at his home. He retired from the city of Paducah. He served in the National Guard and was of the Pentecostal faith.He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Orlene Elder; one daughter, Elizabeth Michele Elder of Illinois; one stepson, Duane Allen Thompson of Paducah; two sisters, Glenda Sue Newton of Paducah and Paula Jean Burnham of Metropolis, Ill.; and two grandchildren. His parents were Raymond Jewell Elder and Betty Sue Brown Elder.Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, March 21, 2014, at Maplelawn Park Cemetery with the Rev. Chris Brady officiating. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Friday at Keeling Family Funeral Home.
