John Klope

John Eric Klope, 26, of Paducah, died at 10 p.m. Thursday, March 22, 2012 at his home.

He was born April 15, 1985, in Paducah to Kevin and Pam Blythe Klope of Paducah. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son, Jackson Wesley Klope of Paducah; his daughter, Kianna Emilie Klope of Paducah; his brother, Andrew Klope of Nashville; his sister, Hannah Klope of West Paducah; his nieces, Ariana and Annalise Klope, and his nephews, Aiden and Micah Klope, all of Paducah; and his grandparents, Lars and June Blythe of Paducah and Robert and Malinda Klope of West Paducah.

Eric was a member of High Point Pentecostal Church in West Paducah. He was a 2003 graduate of Christian Fellowship School, where he was an All-Purchase basketball player. He attended the University of Kentucky and played on the 2003 and 2004 UK Football team.

He was a loving father, son, brother and grandson. Eric will be missed by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was passionate about his children, his music and sports.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 26, 2012, at Milner and Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with the Rev. Doug Stevens officiating.

Burial will follow in Maplelawn Park Cemetery.

The Klope family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Sunday, March 25, 2012, at Milner and Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to: Paducah Bank, 555 Jefferson St., Paducah, KY 42001 where a trust fund will be designated for his children.
