Services for James E. Wallace, 84, of Paducah will be at noon today at Roth Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Harold Council officiating. Burial will be in Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
Mr. Wallace died Sunday at Western Baptist Hospital.
He was a retired engineer with the Illinois Central Railroad and was the former secretary of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers.
He is survived by one daughter, Sherry Riley of Ledbetter; one son, James L. Wallace of Nettleton, Miss.; and several grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary A. Witty Wallace, and one daughter, Bonnie Davis. His parents were Clyde and Mable Wallace.
Friends may call after 10 a.m. today at the funeral home.
