BOWLING GREEN - Dr. Jack Jones Weitlauf Sr., 89, of Bowling Green, formerly of Paducah, died at 4:08 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013, at the Medical Center of Bowling Green.
He was a retired dentist and a graduate of the University of Louisville School of Dentistry, and served in the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Army during World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Clara Mitchell Weitlauf; two daughters, Cathy Weitlauf of Bowling Green and Ann Haight of Chicago; one son, Jack J. Weitlauf Jr. of Bowling Green; one stepdaughter, Kathy Mauck of Poseyville, Ind.; two stepsons, Larry Baker of Paducah and Kenny Baker of Tarpon Springs, Fla.; 11 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.
His parents were George William Weitlauf and Willieradna Jones Weitlauf.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 25, 2013, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. F. Wayne Carter officiating. Burial will follow in Maplelawn Park Cemetery. Friends may call after 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 25, 2013, at the funeral home.
