Henry Daniel Zeiss, 78, of Paducah, died Friday, September 20, 2013, at Lourdes hospital.
Mr. Zeiss was a member of Heartland Baptist Church in Paducah and a retired baker and grocer.
He is survived by two sons, Mike Zeiss (Teresa) of Paducah and the Rev. Kerry Zeiss (Diane) of Atwood, Tenn.; one brother, Charles Zeiss of Jackson, Tenn.; three sisters, Juanita Zeiss of Paducah, Frances Hassell of Paducah, and Flora Bell Perdew of Paducah; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Pat Friedly of Paducah; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Williams Zeiss; his parents, Charles and Mary Zeiss; and one sister, Catherine Dowdy.
Funeral services will be Sunday, September 22, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Lindsey Funeral Home with the Rev. Kerry Zeiss and Mike Zeiss officiating. Burial will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery in Paducah.
Visitation will be noon-2 p.m. today at the funeral home.
