Glenda Ransom

Glenda Ransom, age 60, West Paducah, KY passed away at 9:09 p.m. Monday, August 27, 2018 at Norton Hospital in Louisville, KY.

Glenda served as Circuit Court Clerk for six years and was employed in the Circuit Court Clerk office for a total of 30 years. Glenda loved camping and being around the lake. The Smokey Mountains held a special place for family trips on many occasions. glenda was fondly known as "Mamaw" to her seven grandchildren that truly adored her.

Survivors include husband of 37 years, James Clifford Ransom Jr,; one daughter, Anne (Brad) Wallace of West Paducah; one sone Ronnie Ransom of Paducah; three sisters, Sandy (Tom) Garrett, Brenda (Howard) Arant both of Paducah and Cathy (Terry) Stamper of Boaz, KY; one brother Robe (Michele) Bennett of Paducah; seven grandchildren, Jeffrey Mathis, Beau Mathis, Abbigale Wallace, Cami Wallace, Alexis Ransom, Brody Ransom and Mason Ransom; several neices and nephews.

Prededing in death were her parents, William Robert Bennett & Beatrice Jane York Bennett.

Services will be held Saturday, September 1, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah. Burial will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 - 8:00 pm.m Friday, August 31, 2018 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
