Frances Allcock

Joanne Allcock, 82, of Paducah, Kentucky passed away at 12:10 p.m. Thursday, September 08, 2016 at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Center of Lourdes Hospital. She was the retired owner and operator of Houser Florist. Joanne was a member of the Lone Oak United Methodist Church,

Woman's Club of Paducah and Lone Oak, and the American Business Women's Association. She is survived by her daughter, Debra D. Byars and husband Kent of Paducah, Kentucky; granddaughter, Kenda Hancock and husband Kent of Paducah, Kentucky; two great grandchildren, Kloi Hancock and Kendon Hancock both of Paducah, Kentucky; step-sons, Edward Allcock, Roger Allcock, Ronald Allcock and several nieces and nephews.

Joanne was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Victor Allcock; brother, James William "Bill" Houser. Her parents were James W. Houser and Anna Wolpert Houser.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 10, 2016 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home with Dr. Ben Boone and Rev. Jason Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Maplelawn Park Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, Septmeber 10, 2016 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Lone Oak United Methodist Church, 3835 Old U. S. Hwy. 45 South, Paducah, Kentucky 42003 or to the Paducah Cooperative Ministry, 402 Legion Drive, Paducah,Kentucky 42003.
