Fannie Ross

June 28, 1933 — November 2, 2017

Fannie Mae Ivery Ross, age 84, of Paducah, passed away Thursday, November 2, 2017, 1:16 a.m., at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah.

She was a member of Pilgrim Baptist Church. She formerly owned and operated Fannie's Fashion's and was co-owner of the former Sinclair/Arco service station.

She is survived by one son, George Edward Ross, Sr. of Paducah; seven grand-children; thirteen great-grandchildren; one great- great grandchild; two brotehrs, Oreese Ivery of Paducah and Donald Ivery of Toledo, OH; two sisters, Annie Walker of Paducah and Mary Jones of Houston, TX; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Buford Ivery and Gladys Elizabeth Luster Ivery; her husband George Howard Ross; one son, Howard Lee Ross and one brother.

Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, November 10, 2017, 12:00 Noon at Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home with Reverend Henrietta Owens officiating. Burial will follow in Maplelawn Park Cemetery.

Friends may also call at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
