GRANITE CITY, Ill. - Ervy Reed, 90, of Granite City, Ill., passed away at 7:30 p.m. Monday, November 26, 2013, at Eunice Smith Nursing Home in Alton, Ill.
Mr. Reed was a retired crane operator and member of Jerseyville Gospel Assembly Church.
He was survived by his family who loved him dearly.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Margie Cleo Reed; and his parents, Worthy and Flora Reed.
Service will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Lindsey Funeral Home with the Rev. Encil Edmonds officiating. Friends may call from 1 p.m. - 3 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be held at Maplelawn Park Cemetery at a later date.
