Elizabeth Ogg Leaver, 84, passed away 3 a.m. Sunday, January 15th, 2012, at her residence.
She was a member of Schneidman Road Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Huel Leaver; two daughters, Karen Leaver of Paducah, Sharon Hancock and her husband, Eugene, of Paducah; one son, Chris Leaver of Spring Hill, Kansas; one sister, Nolie Rogers of Mayfield; three grandchildren, Michael Hancock, Huel Thorn, Catie Friend; four great-grandchildren, Brayden Friend, Cayden Hancock, Matthew Thorn and Jordan McKendree.
She was preceded by her parents, Jessie and Lala Sampson Ogg; one granddaughter, Elizabeth Thorn; two sisters and one brother.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner and Orr with Rev. Mike Moynahan officiating. Burial will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
Visitation for Mrs. Leaver will be 5 p.m.-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner and Orr Funeral Home.
