Edna Moore Block
May 22, 1931 - August 8, 2017
Edna Moore Block, 86, of Paducah, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on August 8, 2017 at 2:04 a.m. at The Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center. She was welcomed into to her Heavenly home by many family members and friends who had gone on before her.
Mrs. Block was a member of Southland Baptist Temple and a past member of the Lourdes Hospital Auxiliary. She previously worked with her second husband, Philip Block, in his Allstate Insurance Agency and they were avid boaters at Kentucky Dam Marina and members of the Power Squadron.
She is survived by a daughter, Cindy Reynolds, of San Antonio, TX; son, Art Moore and
wife,Tena; daughter-in-law, Jerri Moore, all of Paducah; two step-sons, Phil Block, Jr and wife, Michelle of Lexington, KY, and Don Block, and wife Sue, of Marietta, GA; a stepdaughter, Debbie Owens of Apoka ,FL; three granddaughters, Jennifer Council and
husband, Jarrod, of San Antonio, TX; Amy Clevidence and husband, Matt, of Paducah,
Ky; and Tara Locklear, and husband, Jay, of Taylor, MI; and one grandson, Daniel Moore of Paducah, KY. She is also survived by two step- granddaughters, four step-grandsons, six great- granddaughters, four great- grandsons and one great, great- granddaughter.
Mrs. Block was preceded in death by her first husband, Frank B. Moore; second husband, Philip M. Block; son, Phillip L. Moore; and brother, George F. Vandergriff. Her parents were Ruffin and Pearl Vandergriff all of Paducah.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 10, 2017 at Hughes
Funeral Home with Pastors Topper Council, Jimmy Franks, and Wayne Carter officiating.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. up until the time of the service on Thursday. Burial will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery in Paducah.

Southland Baptist Temple, 927 Yarbro Lane, Paducah, KY 42003 or to Lourdes Hospice.
