Eddie Buford
Eddie "Pete" Buford, 71, of Paducah died at 4:17 p.m. Friday at his home.
Mr. Buford was retired from James Marine of Paducah where he was employed as a harbor pilot. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Paducah.
He is survived by his wife, Patsy Ann Baggett Buford; four children, Nicki Buford of Symsonia, Vicki McElrath of Paducah, Richi Buford of Warrensburg, Mo., and Christi Scott of Paducah; nine grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by one son, Jody Pat Buford. His parents were Horace and Clarice Buford.
Services will be at 1 p.m. today at Hughes Funeral Home of Paducah with the Revs. Paul Hatcher and Paul Bogard officiating. Burial will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery in Paducah.
Friends may call after 11 a.m. today at the funeral home.
