Dorris Humphrey Mason

Dorris Humphrey Mason, 90, of Paducah passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center.

She was born August 11, 1928 in McCracken County to the late David and Pauline Hollingsworth Sigler. She was a member of East Baptist Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir. Dorris enjoyed helping others and did so while working for 20 years at Watkins and also 20 years at Elder Beerman.

She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Marvin Mason; one daughter, Cherry Cash and husband, Freddie of Paducah; one son, Gary Humphrey and wife, Gerri of Georgetown, Kentucky; seven grandchildren, Tonia Herndon, Leigh Ann Goshinsky, Ron Humphrey, Laura Griffith, Eric Humphrey, Chris Cash, Michele Reynolds; 12 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Luin Humphrey; her parents and two sisters, Virginia Lynn and Helen Dawes.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at East Baptist Church with Rev. Kenneth Puckett officiating. Burial will follow the service at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at East Baptist Church.
