Dorothy “Doedoe” Aline Rogers, 91, of Paducah passed away on Sunday, February 6, 2022, at Baptist Health Paducah.

Dorothy was a member of Southland Baptist Temple and East Baptist. She loved her church families and was a faithful prayer warrior. She enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, sewing, and ceramics. She worked as a cashier in the retail industry after her husbands passing.

Surviving are her children, James “Tommy” Rogers and wife, Lavina, Mary Ann Gamblin and husband, John, David Alton Rogers and wife, Tammye; her grandchildren, Krista Reed and husband, Gary, Shana Storm and husband, Allen, McKenzie Buchanan and husband, Ross, Leah Dutchik and husband, Chip, and Lacey Rodgers and husband, Kenny; step grandchildren,  Bethany Futrell and Chris, Laura Futrell and Chandler, Christy Jones and husband, Jason; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and special friend, Dorothy Jean Swain.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy C. Rogers; and her parents, Orland and Mary Arvilla Forsythe.

Graveside services will be at 2:00pm on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at Maplelawn Park Cemetery with the Rev. Mike Bebout officiating. Burial will follow.

Friends may visit the family from 1:30pm to service hour on Wednesday at the cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her honor to SBT Missions Fund at 927 Yarbro Lane Paducah, KY 42003.
