Dorothy Sue Newsome, 64, of Paducah passed away at 5:43 p.m. Thursday at Western Baptist Hospital.
Mrs. Newsome was a member of Southland Baptist Temple.
She is survived by one daughter, Elizabeth Ann Godman of Paducah; one sister, Peggy Sue Russell of Louisville; one brother, Randel Thompson of Paducah; two grandsons; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvey Newsome; her parents, Horace Francis Thompson and Maude Elizabeth Barger Thompson; two sisters; and one brother.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. today at Maplelawn Park Cemetery with the Rev. Topper Council officiating.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. today at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
