Doris Tinsley

May 19, 1930 — May 20, 2016

Doris Marie Hays Tinsley, 86, of Symsonia, KY, passed away at 6:55 pm Friday, May 20, 2016 at Oakview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was a longtime member of Clarks River Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School for many years.

Doris was the beloved wife of 62 years, to the late James (Jim) Tinsley; mother of Stan (Patty) Tinsley, of Jackson, TN, Terri Ballew, of Symsonia, KY, and Brad (Cheryl), of Corbin,KY; Nannie to James (Lilly) McCrady, of Paducah, KY, Adam (Dena) Ballew, of Boca Raton, FL, Sarah (Tim) Houston, of Symsonia, KY, Anna Marie (Bill) Smith, of Jackson, TN, Ellis Ballew, of Boca Raton, FL,

Rebecca (Kevin) Duncan, of St. Louis, MO, Robbie and JeffreyTinsley, of Corbin, KY; great grandmother to 12; sister of Jon R. Hays, of Dayton, OH; sister in law of Elaine Hays, of Chattanooga, TN, Willodean Tinsley, of Symsonia, KY, and Joe Hattings, of Mississippi; and several nieces and nephews.
Doris was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Naomi (Scott) Hays, and her brother, E.
T. Hays.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 am Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah, with Bro. Bruce Watts officiating. Burial will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
A visitation will be held from 5-8:00 pm Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to: Lourdes Hospice, PO Box 7100,
Paducah, KY 42002-7100.
