Della Blair

Della M. Blair, Age 79, of Paducah passed away Monday at 11:29 p.m. at the Western Baptist Hospital.

She was a native of Oneida, Tenn., and was a member of the Victory Assembly Worship Center.

Surviving are her husband, Sam Blair of Paducah; daughters Judy Garrett and husband Frank of Manchester, MI., Yvette Shankle and husband Jerry of Paducah, Ky.; two brothers, James Day of Salt Lake City, UT, and Ervie Day of Lawrenceburg, TN.; several half-sisters; eight grandchildren, Frankie, Keith, Ashley, Jenifer, Austin, Samantha, Cheyanna and Kimberly. Five great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by two sons, Sammy M. Blair and Kenneth Blair; her parents, Dyer Day and Flora Byrd Day; two brothers.

Funeral Service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at the Keeling Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Gary DeRossett officiating. Entombment will follow in the Maplelawn Park Cemetery. Friends may call today from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
