Collis Ray

October 10, 1932 — December 15, 2015

Collis R. Ray age 83 of Paducah passed away Monday, December 14, 2015 at 5:52 A.M. at the ER of Baptist Health of Paducah.

Mr. Ray was born in Nashville GA. He served his country in the United States Army, and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Paducah. During his working career he worked for Modine Manufacturing, was General Manager of Long John Silver's and worked for Western Baptist. He enjoyed all type of sports, and was a coach for the JC Football League and several ball teams. He was also a Duke of Paducah. Surviving is his loving wife of 61 years, Wanda Ford Ray two sons, Steve Ray and wife Linda of Jonesboro Arkansas, and Kelly Ray and wife Liz of Hanoi, Vietnam. Four grandchildren, Josh Ray and wife Lauren, Ryan Ray, and Madison Ray all of Jonesboro, Arkansas and Ethan Ray of Hanoi, Vietnam.

Funeral Service will be held Monday December 21, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. at the Keeling Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Nevin Gnagey officiating. Burial will follow in the Maplelawn Park Cemetery with Military Honors. Visitation will be held Monday December 21, 2015 from 11:00 A.M. till funeral hour at the funeral home. Serving as pallbearers will be Josh Ray, Doug Durst, Steve Sheffer, Rodney Adams
