Clarence Mac McMurtry, 77, of Hartselle, Alabama formerly of Paducah died on Monday, October 5, 2015 at his residence.
Mr. McMurtry was retired from USEC and served as a 1st Sergeant for the US Army. He was of the Baptist Faith.
Surviving is his wife, Rosalie McMurtry of Hartselle, AL; two daughters, Angela Watson of Hartselle, AL, Karen Sauvage of Seminole, FL; one son, John McMurtry of Decatur, AL; one sister, Louise Petter of Paducah; one brother, Charles McMurtry of Bradenton, FL; four grandchildren; and four
great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Lee McMurtry and Leeta May Savonis; four brothers; and one sister.
Funeral service will be at 1:00pm on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at Lindsey Funeral Home with the Rev. Topper Council officiating. Burial will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
Friends may call from 11:00am to funeral hour on Saturday at the funeral home.
