Chester Pace

June 8, 1930 — August 26, 2011

Chester Neal Pace, 81, of Paducah died at 1:45 a.m. Friday at Lourdes hospital.

Mr. Pace was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a member of Temple Baptist Church. He was self-employed as an insurance appraiser and worked as an auto body repairman for several dealerships in the Paducah area.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia Pickett Pace; two daughters, Carla Peck of Symsonia and Tana Savage of Calvert City; one son, Brian Pace of Odenton, Md.; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilburn Pace and Christine Malone Pace; and three sisters.

Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. today at Maplelawn Park Cemetery with the Rev. Larry Walker officiating.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. today at Keeling Family Funeral Home.
