Charles LeNeave

May 13, 1922 — November 22, 2011

Charles L. LeNeave, 89, of Paducah went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday at 3:30 a.m. at Lourdes Hospital surrounded by his family.

He was born on May 13, 1922, to the late Lewis and Elsie LeNeave in Trigg County, Ky. Charles was a member of Lone Oak First Baptist Church, retired as Captain from the Paducah Police Department, and 2nd retirement as a guard at USEC. He was a veteran of World War II, having served with the 776th Tank Division and was chosen as Paducah Distinguished Veteran in 1998.

Services will be held Saturday, November 26, 2011, at 11 a.m. at Milner & Funeral Home of Paducah with Dr. Dan Summerlin officiating. Burial will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family on Friday, November 25, 2011, from 5-8 p.m. at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.

Survivors include his wife of fifty-six years, Lou Ella Johnson LeNeave; one daughter, Carrie LeNeave, Paducah, Ky.; two sons, Kevin (Carolyn) LeNeave and Steve LeNeave, both of Paducah; two brothers, Lawrence (Marie) LeNeave, Paducah, Ky., and J.W. (Linda) LeNeave of Franklin, Tenn.; three grandchildren, Rachel LeNeave and Kaleb (Devin) LeNeave, and Robert Roethemeyer; several nieces and nephews.

Preceding in death were his parents; two brothers, Raymond LeNeave and James LeNeave.
