Charles Denson Gary, age 82 of Chicago, IL formerly of Paducah passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at his residence.

He was a member of the former Carneal Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Grahamville, KY.

He retired from Evanston Hospital in Evanston, IL as a buyer of Medical Supplies and Equipment.

He was a veteran serving in the United States Army in Korea.

He was preceded in death by his first wife; Helen F. Gary and second wife, Margaret E. Gary; his parents, Herman and Leola Denson Gary, two brothers and four sisters.

He is survived by one brother; Rev. Vernon Gary of Paducah; two sisters; Opal Gary of Lexington, KY and Erma Norris of Paducah; one step-son; James St. Andrew of Chicago, IL; one step-grandson; James Christopher St. Andrew of Chicago, IL; several nieces ,nephews and cousins.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, January 18, 2020, 12 Noon at New Greater Love Church with Rev. Alfred Anderson officiating. Burial will follow with military rites at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.

Friends may call at the church on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
