Catherine Thomasson

December 21, 1934 — November 19, 2016

Catherine "Betty" Slagle Thomasson, 81, of Seveirville, Tennessee formerly of Paducah, Kentucky
passed away Saturday, November 19, 2016 at the LeConte Medical Center in Seveirville. She was
born in Brookport, Illinois and was a homemaker. Betty was a member of Southland Baptist
Temple where she enjoyed going on mission trips.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda Ann Ingram and husband Frank of Freelandville, Indiana;
son, Marion Louis "Bud" Thomasson, Jr. and wife Jana of Seveirville, Tennesse; sisters, Shirley
Porter and husband Clifford of Metropolis, Illinois, Hannah Helm of Paducah, Kentucky and Faye
Reynolds of Kevil, Kentucky; 3 grandchildren, Mandi Thomasson, Rachael Childress and Kenny
Hall; 2 great grandchildren, Paige Childress, Macy Childress and several nieces and nephews.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Marion "Buddy" Louis Thomasson, Sr.; sister,
Carolyn Short; brother, Jack Slagle. Her parents were Blaine Slagle and Sally Knight Slagle.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at Milner & Orr Funeral
Home of Paducah with Mr. Terrell Lee officiating. Burial will follow in the Maplelawn Park
Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday, November 21, 2016 at Milner &
Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Southland Baptist Temple
Mission Team, 927 Yarbro Lane, Paducah, Kentucky 42003.
