Carolyn Ruth Manley Page, 84, of Paducah, KY, passed away at 4:30 am Wednesday, December 22, 2016 at the Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center. Fifteen years of health struggles ended peacefully in the presence of her family. The best mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, will be missed forever.

Carolyn was a committed Christian wife and mother. As an active member of Margaret Hank Cumberland Presbyterian Church, she served in many circles as well as the daycare. After moving to Lone Oak, she attended Lone Oak First Baptist Church.

Carolyn was born June 18, 1932 in Paducah, KY to Essie May and Ernest Manley. She enjoyed growing up in Paducah and married her childhood sweetheart, Billy Joe Page, in 1947. Their 66 year marriage produced four children, Martin Lynn Page, of Orlando, FL, Cynthia Jo McElya, of Boise, ID, Gregg Patrick Page, of Tampa, FL, and Penny Ruth Gates, of Paducah, KY; their spouses; five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren, with another on the way in March.

While raising a family, Carolyn enjoyed many civic activities including, election poll worker, PTA and Band Booster for Paducah Tilghman High School. She had many outlets for her creative talents, such as cake decorating, sewing, quilting and painting. Carolyn and Billy Joe were members of the Chiefs & Squaw Square Dancing Club and enjoyed traveling to square dances all over the country. They traveled and cruised and visited children and grandchildren all over the USA.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Joe; her parents, Essie and Ernest Manley; two brothers, Jimmie and Billy Joe; and one infant son, Michael Page.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 am Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah at 120 Memorial Drive. Carolyn's grandson-in-law, Rev. Randy Forrester will officiate. Burial will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery. Friends may visit, prior to the service, from 10-11:00 am at the funeral home.
