Betty Dykes

Betty Dykes, 78, of Marion, KY., passed away Monday, October 7, 2013, at Lourdes hospital.

Mrs. Dykes is survived by her husband, Alton Dykes of Marion, KY.; one sister, Mildred Alvey of Paducah, KY.; one son, Mike Dykes of Paducah, KY.; one daughter, Sheila Tucker of Ledbetter, KY.; three grandchildren; one stepgrandchild; one great-grandchild; one stepgreat-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Dykes was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Lola Champion; one brother, J.B. Champion; one son, Gary Dykes, and one daughter, Sharron Dykes.

Funeral service for Mrs Dykes will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, October 11, 2013, at Gilbert Funeral Home. Friends may call Thursday, October 10, 2013, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Graveside services will follow at Maplelawn Cemetery in Paducah, KY., at 3 p.m. Friday.
