Bettie Baumer

Bettie P. Baumer, 89, of Paducah died Wednesday, May 29, 2013, at Lourdes hospital.

Mrs. Baumer was a member of Kentucky Farm Bureau and a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Paducah.

Surviving are several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Baumer Jr.; her father, George Pippin; her mother, Abbie Phipps Pippin; four brothers, William Boyd Pippin, James A. Pippin, Howard Pippin, and Charles Edward Pippin, and three sisters, Sue Randles, Grace Wurst, and Sybil Pippin.

Services will be Monday, June 3, 2013, at 11 a.m. at Roth Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Corey Aker and Rev. James C. Walter (Bettie's nephew and God's son) officiating. Entombment will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Sunday, June 2, 2013, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
